AminoOptimization Group ships research compounds worldwide from Canada. This page explains how orders are processed, packed and dispatched, what happens when a parcel crosses a border, and what responsibility sits with you as the purchaser.
Shipping rates
- Flat rate — CAD $20. One price to any destination we ship to, anywhere in the world. No weight bands, no dimensional surcharges, no per-country pricing.
- Free shipping on orders over CAD $150. Applied automatically at checkout. There is no code to enter.
The free-shipping threshold is assessed on your order subtotal after any discount code has been applied. If a coupon brings the subtotal below CAD $150, the flat rate applies again.
Shipping is shown as a separate line on the order summary before you pay, and you will never be charged an amount you have not already seen. Duties and import taxes are a separate matter and are not included — see Customs, duties and import responsibility.
Order processing
Orders are picked and packed on business days. An order placed before our daily cut-off is normally dispatched the same business day; orders placed after the cut-off, on a weekend, or on a Canadian statutory holiday are dispatched on the next business day.
Processing time is separate from transit time. The delivery estimate shown by a carrier begins when the parcel is scanned into their network, not when you place the order.
Orders paid by cryptocurrency are released for packing once the transaction has the required number of network confirmations. This is usually a matter of minutes but can be longer when a network is congested.
Where we ship
We ship worldwide. Domestic Canadian orders move through national and courier networks; international orders are handed to an international carrier or postal service depending on destination and parcel size.
We are not able to ship to every address in every territory. A small number of destinations are excluded because carriers will not accept the commodity, because a national authority restricts importation of research chemicals, or because we cannot obtain reliable tracking. If your destination is one of these, checkout will tell you before you pay rather than after.
Determining whether a given compound may lawfully be imported into your country is your responsibility, not ours. Regulations on research chemicals differ substantially between jurisdictions and change without notice. See Customs, duties and import responsibility below.
Packaging
Every order ships in plain, unbranded outer packaging. There is no product name, no logo and no indication of contents on the exterior. The sender line carries our business name only.
Lyophilised peptide is packed in sealed vials inside protective inserts. Vials are cushioned against impact and the box is sized to prevent movement in transit.
A note on temperature in transit
Lyophilised — freeze-dried — peptide is comparatively stable at ambient temperature and does not require cold-chain shipping. Brief exposure to warm or cold conditions during transit is normal and is not expected to compromise properly lyophilised material. This is why research compounds are supplied as a dry powder rather than in solution.
On arrival, transfer vials to storage at -20 °C, protected from light, and reconstitute only when required. Storage and stability guidance for each compound is on its product page, and our quality control page explains what the analytical certificate does and does not cover.
Tracking
Every order ships with tracking. When your parcel is handed to the carrier you will receive an email containing the carrier name and tracking number, and you can look the order up at any time on our order tracking page using your order number and billing email address.
Tracking information can take up to 24 hours to appear after dispatch, because carriers populate their systems on their own schedule. A tracking number that shows no scans yet is normal on the first day and is not a sign that something has gone wrong.
International parcels frequently go quiet for several days while in transit between networks or held for customs inspection. This is expected behaviour and not, on its own, evidence of a lost parcel.
Customs, duties and import responsibility
For international orders, any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, VAT or GST levied by the destination country are your responsibility and are not included in the price you pay us. These charges are set by your national authority, collected by the carrier, and we have no control over their amount or whether they are applied at all.
Parcels are declared accurately as research chemicals not intended for human or veterinary use. We do not mis-declare contents, understate value, or mark shipments as gifts. Requests to do so will be declined — customs fraud is a criminal matter in most jurisdictions and it is not a service we provide.
By placing an international order you confirm that you have satisfied yourself that importing the material is lawful where you are. If a parcel is seized, refused entry, or destroyed by a customs authority, that is a consequence of the importing jurisdiction’s rules and we are not able to refund or replace it.
If a parcel is returned to us undelivered because import charges went unpaid or the address was refused, we can re-ship it at your cost or refund the product value less the original outbound shipping.
Delivery problems
Delays
Carrier delays, weather events, customs inspections and postal backlogs are outside our control. We will help you chase a delayed parcel, but transit time is not something we can guarantee and delivery estimates are estimates rather than commitments.
Parcels marked delivered but not received
Check with other people at the address, look for a carrier card, and check safe-drop locations. If it has not appeared within 48 hours, contact us with your order number and we will open a trace with the carrier.
Damage in transit
Inspect your order on arrival. If vials are broken or seals are compromised, photograph the outer packaging, the inner packaging and the affected vials before unpacking further, and contact us within 7 days of delivery. Photographs of the packaging as it arrived are what allow a carrier claim to succeed.
Wrong or missing items
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and we will correct it.
Address accuracy
We ship to the address entered at checkout, exactly as entered. Please check it before paying — an incomplete unit number, a transposed postal code or a missing suite line is the single most common cause of a failed delivery.
We can change a shipping address only before an order is dispatched. Once a parcel is with the carrier we cannot redirect it, and a parcel returned to us because of an incorrect address is treated as described under Customs, duties and import responsibility above.
Shipping questions
How much does shipping cost?
A flat CAD $20 to any destination worldwide, or free on orders over CAD $150. There are no weight bands and no per-country surcharges.
How do I get free shipping?
Spend over CAD $150. It is applied automatically at checkout — there is no code to enter. The threshold is measured on your subtotal after any discount, so a coupon that takes the order below CAD $150 also removes the free shipping.
Does the CAD $20 flat rate really apply everywhere?
Yes, to every destination we are able to ship to. What it does not cover is customs duties or import taxes charged by your own country, which are billed to you separately by the carrier.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Yes — we ship worldwide, with a small number of destination exclusions where carriers or national authorities do not permit it. Checkout will tell you if your destination is excluded.
Will my order be marked as a gift or under-declared?
No. Parcels are declared accurately as research chemicals not for human or veterinary use. We do not falsify customs paperwork under any circumstances.
Do peptides need to be shipped cold?
No. Lyophilised peptide is stable at ambient temperature for the duration of normal transit, which is precisely why it is supplied freeze-dried. Move vials to -20 °C storage on arrival.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. Plain outer packaging with no product name, no logo and no indication of contents.
My tracking has not updated in days. Is my parcel lost?
Usually not. International parcels commonly show no scans while moving between carrier networks or held for customs. If there has been no movement for 10 business days, contact us and we will open a trace.
Who pays customs duties?
You do. Import duties, taxes and brokerage fees are set and collected by the destination country and are not included in what you pay us.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Only before dispatch. Contact us immediately with your order number — once the parcel is with the carrier we cannot redirect it.
